1. Mysterious Mermaid Egg - This egg is caught between being a medium egg and a large egg, it is smaller than the largest, but larger than the smallest. Closest to Shytainaith, it rests between her forelegs, encircled prtectively by Shy's neck, no one is allowed near this pretty egg with the inner glow except Inuyath and herself. A soft blue, the ocean like colour spreads over the entire shell, different shades forming to give the egg the effect of stirring water, towards the bottom of the egg is a shadow, the shape is that of a mermaid, the fish tail joining to the human torso. This egg radiates enthusiasum and curiousity, drawing everyone closer with a bubbly and friendly feeling radiating from the pretty shell. The moment your hand touches the egg though, a wave of hyperness washes over you, this dragon just can't wait to get out and meet you!
2. Lucky Cricket Egg - This egg is one of the largest in the clutch, standing in the middle of the clutch for all to see. This egg demands attention with everything except the colour of it, for all it's position and size, the egg is coloured a soft purplish colour, on the top of the egg, formed in a darker colour that that of the rest of the egg is a small cricket. It's hard to pick out if you're not looking at the top of the egg, but it is there. This eg gives off a feeling of protectiveness and possessiveness. This egg wants only to protect everyone, defending those that need it from him, should you show any sign of needing help, this egg will reach out with comforting feelings. However, those with a strong mind will find this egg reacting as though it has found an ally.
3. Advising Bird Egg - This egg is rather small in comparison to the egg it sits next to - The Lucky Cricket Egg - on the left and seems to be endlessly leaning towards it as though it might whisper something in the other's ear. A bright blue colouring makred with flashes of other colours, red, orange and yellow, it's hard to miss this bright little egg. Infact, walking by it without showing attention is almost impossible, especially since it seems to get extremely offended when you do. Should you walk past this egg, then return to it's side, the heat will be enough to burn fingers. However, should you pay attention the first time, an advising feeling will surround those who touch it. Surely this egg knows best.
4. Arabian Nights Egg - This egg is small, possibly the smallest in the clutch, but at the same time, possibly the lovliest in it's apparent simplicity. Hues of midnight surround the shell, silver dotted around on the shell like the shining stars with the occasional whisp of a cloud across the skies. The bottom of the egg seems to shift and change, like the sands of Igen. Once skin brushes the shell however, everything seems to shift and you become overwhelmed with a loving, caring personality. One that can't wait to get out there and help soothe all the pain and make people stop crying. This egg seems to cling to those who are sadder, wanting to take their pain and make it all better. However, beneath that is a calm yet mischevious demenor.This egg wants to be a pillar, something to hold up the Weyr in times of trouble.
5. Diamond in the Rough Egg - Sitting close to it's sibling - The Arabian Nights Egg - the Diamond in the Rough Egg seems to almost touch the other shell. Tilting to one side as though to lean against the other egg, this small egg seems to go hand in hand with the Arabian Nights Egg. Browns of all different shades swarm over the egg, giving it a rocky appearance, the shell its self is rough to the touch, making one want to pull away almost instantly. The personality of the dragonet inside is that of a darling. Afraid and cautious of everyone that touched this egg, the dragonet only wants to be held and told everything will be okay, it wants to be taken care of, and protected. Mostly, the feeling is that of one so lonely it brings tears to the eyes of many who touch the egg, it only wants to be loved...
6. Poisoned Apple Egg - Medium sized, this egg sits next to teh Mysterious Mermaid Egg, seemingly about the same size as it's sibling. The colour is what draws people closer, the crimson colouring so alike to blood dripping down it's sides, followed by the darkest black spreading over the red like honey. Covering only the top of the egg, the black seems to bring to mind rotting fruit, decaying over time. This egg gives off a feeling of not really caring, an absence of compassion as it cares only for its self and those closest to it. Only one that can understand the dislike it has for the world can touch the shell without fingers being burnt. This egg would be quite happily left alone, unless of course you plan to help make chaos?
7. Princess in Peasant Clothing - This egg is bland, a medium egg to the point of being purely average in every way, even the colouring is such that sometimes eyes skate right past it. A deep, dreary grey covers teh shell, occasionaly splotched with white or black, like smears of ashes and dirt, flour across the shell. Give the egg a glance and a touch and a feeling of being assured of who it is will flow over your mind, assurance, confidence in every thing it knows. At the same time, the feeling of wanting to be fair at the same time as firm. A ruler that knows the boundries. Faranth help them if you hurt someone this egg cares about, it will hunt you down until you beg for mercy.
8. Forget me Not Egg - This egg sits alone at the edge of the clutch, almost out of sight of anyone, a medium egg, this egg seems rounder than most and sits in a deeper groove than the rest of the eggs to stop it toppling over and harming its self. The colour seems to change with every way you look at it, the white appearing almost silver in some cases, or perhaps a powdery blue, even a pale green? Apart from the shifting shades, there is no blotches of colour on this smooth to the touch egg. This egg seems to want to prove its self, knowing hardly anyone ever looks it's way. Why won't they look at it? It needs to be bigger maybe? Or more colourful, it can't change those things, but as soon as it hatches it will prove its self to everyone. This egg doesn't want to be forgotten, wants to be a timeless memory...
9. Playful Courage - This large egg sits next to the Diamond in teh Rough almost as though it is determined to protect it's smaller sibling from all the candidates that are sure to want to go near it. A dark green colouring, the shades melt over the egg like the lush foliage of the forests, marked with only a splash of bright red, shaped perfectly like a feather. This egg gives off a feeling of confidence and caring, a need to make things fair for all and protect the weak like it's sibling. At the same time, there is an air of mischeviousness about this egg, like it wants to do it's duty, but at the same time, have a little bit of fun too.
10. Divine Wisdom - This medium sized egg is shrouded in a brown colouring, sitting next to the Playful Courage egg as though it is willing to follow the other's lead. The brown on the egg is a simple colouring, with few other shades on the dark shell. Despite it's dark colouring, the egg has a kind nature that it apparent as soon as you are within two steps of the egg, it gives off a feeling of wisdom beyond what it should know, a mature outlook on things. This egg will always give you someone to talk to, will try and make things better but won't force it's opinions on you.
11. Hidden Treasure Egg - This egg is possibly the ugliest in the clutch, the unflattering grey shell marked by a thin crack in the shell. Though it has been there since the egg was laid, Shytainaith is extremely protective over the unflattering egg, it would take a lot of assurances for even her mate to come near the egg. Though the shell is boring in more ways than one, the feelings radiating from the shell are lonely, confused and unhappy. No one seems to like this little egg, or why else would it's mother keep it away from others. It doesn't seem to understand why it's being hidden away and all it's siblings aren't covered by a wing.
12. Forgotten Past Egg - Smaller than the medium eggs, this egg is placed towards the edge of the clutch, almost as though it wishes to be alone. It sits next to the Prancing Through A Silver Storm egg, and the two are almost identical in looks if not the feelings radiating from them. This egg gives of a feeling of fear and confusion, mind flinching away from those with a harder mind. It doesn't seem to like being surround by people, and the feelings grow distressed if too many come near it in a short amount of time. The soft, silvery blue sheen on the egg gives one a feeling of looking at a mirror, the surface of the egg smoother than most.
13. Prancing Through A Silver Storm - Sitting next to the Forgotten Past Egg, the two seem to go hand in hand. Identical in shape and size, these eggs are hard to tell apart at first glance. The shell of this egg has a more silvery-white sheen to the shell rather than a silver-blue, giving the impression of fogged up glass. This egg gives off a feeling of contentment, of patience and tolerance. Calm even with it's panicky sibling next to it, it doesn't like too many coming near it, more out of a desire to deal with one thing at a time than feeling overwhelmed. Kindness and compassion radiate from the egg, at the same time as confidence and assurance.
14. Painted Wings - This egg is placed near the front of the clutch, almost as though it can't wait for people to come closer and look at it. A medium sized egg, the colours of this egg are bright enough to think a weyrbrat merely painted over this egg for fun. However, in a dark purple colouring is a very clear picture of a large butterfly, wings spread as though ready to take off at a moments notice. This egg has a worrying lack of reaction to others, almost as though there is either a mental wall up between it and those coming closer, or perhaps there is something wrong with it?
15. Gypsy Dance - Awhirl with bright colours and dark alike, this small egg is alive with colour. Greens and blues clash with the reds and hyellows, swirling around the purple and silver like well made fabrics. The colours seem to pulse with their own beat, swirling to a music no one but the dragonet inside can hear. Skin meets the smooth surface of the shell that is placed next to the Painted Wings Egg, and there is suddenly a musical nature embodied with a free spirit, nothing can hold this little dragon down, for it will only break free again. Rebellious at the best of times, this little egg will always want to be free, and can't be kept within stone walls.
16. Faerie Dust - This medium sized egg is settled on the other side of the Painted Wings Egg, almost as though Shytainaith is trying to draw attention away from the fact that the Painted Wings Egg has no reaction, or perhaps that is luck. A bright yellowish colour, this egg seems to sparkle in the right light and was origianally thought to be a Queen Egg, until the size was noted and Shytainaith was less protective of it. This egg can be very frustrating, it believes in the impossible, and refuses to believe that things can't be done. To this egg, there is no such thing as 'can't' and will always find a way to do things no matter what obsticles are placed infront of it.
17. The Bare Necessities - This egg is a dark colouring, the black background darkening as it nears the top of the egg, it is splashed with the darkest of greens like the forest foliage in the night. When touching this large egg, one is given the impression of a rather laid back personality, it doesn't need anything fancy to get on in life, and is quite happy with the simple things, finding them more important than anything else. This egg will always go with the flow rather than carve its own path, believing it is better to relax rather than stress.
18. Right and Wrong - This large egg sits next to the Bare Necessities egg, and despite it's large size, the colour is mainly green. The shades don't vary much, and teh egg seems to be constantly rocking from side to side. This egg knows the difference between right and wrong and will always try and steer you towards the better path. It knows best, and you should always listen to Jimeny Cricket.
